What do our audiences think of our concerts?

Naomi C: It was good. All of it was the best bit, but the singing was good.
Nick: It was brilliant. I liked the junk food song and the massive drums and all the different instruments.
Orla: I thought it was calm and peaceful with some loud bits which brought the performance to life. The violins were good.
Renad: The story was the best bit. The music made it better by giving it sounds.
Mariam A: I enjoyed it. The best bit was when we sang the song. The orchestra was nice - and loud.
Ritaj: The song was really nice. It made me cry with happiness.
St Winifred's School, Southampton, February 2010

"On 30th January, Year 4 set off on their trip to Petersfield to attend a concert. ...

When we went in it was astonishing to see all the instruments; there were violins, flutes, cellos, trumpets, and much much more. ...

The conductor was Jonathan Willcocks, although Maisie in Year 4 took over for part of the concert!

They introduced us to the instruments as well. My favourite piece was Tubby the Tuba and my favourite instruments were the tuba and double bass. The front cover of the programme was designed by Eshana and she won a book token. I think the concert was marvellous. I was quite sad to leave because we had so much fun. We set off for home and I thought it was the most magical musical morning ever."
